Between charcuterie chalets and jarcuterie, the food-grazing trend is having a major moment. Now, there are even dogcuteries, and yes, they’re exactly what you’d expect—charcuterie boards for dogs.
The idea came from Instagram account, Macie + Miles—golden retriever siblings. Their owner, Kara Thornton, runs the account, and when she created a dogcuterie board for Macie’s birthday, she shared it.
The board featured a plethora of dog treats with a smattering of peanut butter in the center. In the adorable video below, you can watch Macie grab her first treat from the board.
Thornton spoke with Better Homes & Gardens about the idea.
“I wanted to do something special for Macie’s first birthday,” Thronton said. “And since she is super treat-motivated, I thought it would be perfect.”
So next time you want to celebrate a special occasion with your doggo, give him his own dogcuterie board!
