McDonald’s might be busy with the chicken sandwich wars, but it hasn’t stopped the fast-food chain from adding exciting new items to its menu. Spicy McNuggets are back, but you’ll have to act quick to get your hands on some.
In case you missed it, the spicy McNuggets launched for a limited time back in September 2020. The new spin on the staple menu item featured a tempura-style fry with cayenne and chili pepper. They were accompanied by a Mighty Hot Sauce made from spicy chilies and crushed red pepper.
Starting Feb. 1, the nuggets will return to restaurants for another limited run. You can use the McDonald’s restaurant locator to check the menu at your location and see if it’s part of the relaunch. If so, you’ll want to snag them fast—they’ll only be around for a bit.
To celebrate the item’s return, the brand is also offering free six-piece orders of the McNuggets via DoorDash Feb. 2-6. All you have to do to get yours is spend $20 and use the code SPICY at checkout.
