The kitchen is generally regarded as the heart of a home, which is why it’s usually the most important room to buyers. According to realtors, making one small change to your kitchen could help you sell your home more quickly.

Whites and neutrals remain popular when it comes to home décor. However, when asked how to make a kitchen more inviting by Apartment Therapy, Tina Wilcher, a realtor at Century 21 Exclusive Properties, said adding a flair of color is the way to go.

There are multiple ways you can do this. From curtains and backsplashes to painting cabinets, you can create that little bit of flair without breaking the bank.

Wilcher also said the color you choose should work well not only with the rest of the kitchen, but also with the rest of your home. If you don’t know where to start, there are tons of 2021 kitchen trends you can use as a guide.

According to Semihandmade, green cabinets are going to be a major trend this year. And if you’re not a fan of green, maybe just add a bit of blue.

Whether you just add a few red appliances to your kitchen or grab a paintbrush and go to town on those cabinets, color is definitely in for kitchens in 2021.
