When you think of Eggo, your brain probably doesn’t go to pancakes. However, the brand has decided to “L’Eggo” of tradition and branch out with a new, non-waffle breakfast offering (and they look delicious). Eggo’s Stuffed Pancake Bites will launch later this year in three different flavors.
We’ve trusted Eggo to craft the perfect frozen waffle for ages, so why not pancakes, too? And when they’re filled with chocolate, apple, or strawberry, who would say no?
The Stuffed Pancakes are round, bite-size pieces of the classic breakfast food filled with traditional toppings. They’re kind of like a pancake doughnut hole, and they’re just as perfect for those times you have to eat your breakfast on the go. Syrup isn’t required, and you can also simply pop them into a container for easy travel.
Eggo confirmed with Delish that the pancakes are expected to be on grocery store shelves sometime in April 2021. At this writing, no price information is available, but you can follow Eggo’s social media pages for any updates regarding the launch.
