A Chicken Sandwich Taco Is Coming to a Taco Bell Near You

Taco Bell

You get a chicken sandwich, and you get a chicken sandwich, and you get a chicken sandwich … taco? That’s what you can soon grab at Taco Bell, anyway!

After making some recent cuts (sorry, Mexican Pizza lovers—it is, indeed, gone for good), the iconic Tex-Mex chain is adding a new menu item to join the recently reintroduced Nacho Fries. Joining in the melee that is the continuing fast-food chicken war, Taco Bell will soon launch a new Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco.

It features premium, all-white-meat fried chicken breast marinated in jalapeño buttermilk, seasoned with Mexican spices, then rolled in a tortilla chip coating. It’s served in puffy bread with creamy chipotle sauce, and it’ll be available in both a regular and spicy version.

The Chicken Sandwich Taco will debut at Taco Bell locations in Nashville, TN, and Charlotte, NC, beginning March 11 and will retail for $2.49. A nationwide release is set to happen later in 2021.

Keep your eyes peeled on Taco Bell’s social media for updates on the latest contender in the infamous chicken sandwich wars.

While you’re waiting to get your hands (and mouth) on a Chicken Sandwich Taco, you can check its competition pretty much everywhere, including PopeyesBurger King, or McDonald’s.
