People Prefer This Design Style in Their Home Office

Over the last year, more people than ever started working from home, causing many to create a dedicated home office space. As a result, the most popular décor trends in home workspaces have started to emerge.

Living Spaces surveyed 217 consumers on all of their home office wants and needs. Of the respondents, 44% said their favorite office style was modern. It edged out the second choice— industrial—by 16%. The least popular was mid-century modern.

But the most popular overall design style wasn’t the only thing Living Spaces discovered. They also asked people about their favorite pieces of décor. You might think plants would top this list, especially given Instagram’s obsession with Scandi style. However, the winner was actually wall art. Plants did follow closely in second place, though. When it comes to color, neutrals won out.

Curious how your own preferences stacked up? You can check out all the results over on Living Spaces.
