7 Gluten-Free Snack Bars That Actually Taste Good

An assortment of gluten-free snack bars.
Kind/Perfect/Bobo’s

Whether you want a protein boost, or a healthier snack or dessert option, it’s difficult to find gluten-free snack bars that don’t taste gross. That’s why we did the taste test for you and found the gluten-free bars that won’t make you go “ew.”

While gluten-free foods have come a long way, some, unfortunately, still suck. While everyone’s taste is different, some bars are superior to others. We tried many of the different brands on the market and below are the kind we’ll keep buying.

Kind

Kind Snacks

Kind Bars are wonderful if you’re a nut lover, who also likes some extra flavor. While they’re not the best option if you’re trying to cut sugar from your diet, they do make an excellent breakfast replacement or afternoon boost snack if you’re a fan of chocolate and deliciousness.

What makes Kind Bars a tasty and healthy choice is they’re made with nutrient-rich ingredients. They’re not stuffed with empty calories and make good candy bar replacements. You can try a multipack to decide which flavors you like best.

Lärabar

Lärabar

Lärabars are a very healthy option when it comes to snack bars and meal alternatives. They’re all made with dates, but other vegan and dairy-free ingredients are added to create fun flavors, like Blueberry Muffin and Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. There are even some with delicious chocolate chips.

Most of Lärabar’s options are free of refined sugar if that’s what you’re trying to eliminate. There are many flavors to choose from, and you can buy a multipack to sample the different combos.

Luna bars are made by the Clif Bar & Company. They come in some delicious flavors, and there are even some with healthy prebiotics specifically for gut health.

Whether you want something fruity or are longing for a healthy alternative to peppermint bark, Luna has a snack bar for you. You try a multipack to decide which you like best.

Think! bars are all about protein, and they’re an excellent option if you’re skipping a meal, need a boost of energy, or just want to add more protein to your diet. Unlike some protein bars, though, Think’s actually taste good.

Aside from the protein boost, one of the great things about Think bars is they help curb your craving for empty-calorie junk foods. They even have a chocolate and cream cupcake flavor that mimics Hostess Ding Dongs. You can try this flavor and more with a tasty multipack.

If you’re a fan of oatmeal’s health benefits, but not so much its taste, Bob’s Red Mill has some delicious snack bars. Of all of the great-tasting gluten-free bars out there, these are in our top three. The flavors are all good, it’s hard to pick a favorite.

Perfect for peanut butter lovers, these bars include whole grain oats and organic honey. They’re also free of GMOs. Try the Peanut Butter, Banana, and Oats bar if you’re a banana lover.

Bobo’s Oat Bars

Bobo’s

Bobo’s Oat Bars taste yummy, but they’re a little dry. We definitely recommend pairing them with your favorite milk alternative. One great bonus about this company is it also makes other gluten-free healthy snacks, including protein bars.

From the delightful zing of Lemon Poppyseed to the warming flavor of Maple Pecan, you’re sure to find a bar that reminds you of your favorite baked good. Like all the others on our list, you can get a multipack to sample all the available flavors.

Perfect Bar

Perfect

The Perfect Bar makes eating peanut butter by the spoonful obsolete. With this refrigerated protein bar, you get your favorite nuts along with other yummy flavors, like chocolate and coconut. Try a bundle of the peanut butter flavors to find the perfect one for you.

Not a peanut butter fan? They also have almond bars.

Going gluten-free doesn’t have to mean everything tastes like sandpaper. This list will help you get that bad taste out of your mouth, literally and figuratively. Get ready to be deliciously surprised!
