Last spring’s gardening boom is expected to continue this year, and Lowe’s is helping horticulturists get a head start. The home improvement store’s SpringFest event starts next month, and you can get a free garden-to-go kit each week in April!

Starting April 1, Lowe’s will host SpringFest, a month-long celebration of the new season, featuring everything from DIY demonstrations to deals on gardening and home good items. One of the most exciting items, though, is a free, Garden-to-Go kit. Each week customers can head to the Lowe’s website, reserve a kit,  then pick it up curbside.

The first kit will be available on April 8, and will feature recipes from professional cook, Amanda Frederickson. Then, every Thursday in April, a new kit will be released, featuring the following goodies:

  • April 15: A mystery garden piñata
  • April 22: Tree saplings for Earth Day
  • April 29: Items to craft a butterfly garden

Be sure to head to the website a week in advance to reserve a kit while supplies last.

Even if you have limited space, you can still grow beautiful flowers and plants. Why not create a patio garden this year?
