If you love Le Creuset and mint (the color, not Altoids), you might feel the urge to splurge this spring.
Hot off of launching its chic marble collection, Le Creuset is now embracing spring with another new shade: Cool Mint. Rather than being one solid color, though, this collection features an ombré pattern, meaning it fades out to a lighter shade.
The Dutch ovens and braisers are a bright turquoise around the edges, but fade into a lighter, cooler mint green in the center. Other selections, like the mugs and utensil crocks, start with the lighter shade at the top, then deepen to turquoise at the bottom.
According to the brand, the new color was intended to feel vintage, nostalgic, and reminiscent of eating mint chocolate chip ice cream.
In addition to the Le Creuset website, you can also order the new pieces from QVC. Keep in mind, though, this is a limited edition, so you’ll want to snag them as soon as possible.
If you can’t quite swing a Le Creuset, no worries—there are Dutch ovens available to suit any budget.
