Pellegrino Now Makes Coffee-Flavored Sparkling Water

Three cans and a glass of the S.Pellegrino coffee-favored sparkling waters.
S.Pellegrino

If you’ve ever wished you could get your daily dose of java and water in one beverage, S.Pellegrino is your genie in a sparkling water bottle.

Yes, you read that correctly. S.Pellegrino is launching a new line of coffee-flavored sparkling water called Essenza. They contain 30mg of caffeine per can, but no calories or sweeteners, and will come in three flavors: Exotic Vanilla, Smooth Caramel, and Delicious Cocoa.

You’ll be able to pick up an eight-pack “sometime this spring,” for $5.99. No official release date has been announced, but as of this writing, 24-packs are available on Amazon.

If you’re one of the (probably many?) folks who think the move to coffee-flavored sparkling water is odd, the brand said instead of opting for more fruit-based options for its Essenza line, it was inspired by “Italian coffee bars.”

However, if sparkling watered-down coffee sounds gross to you, LaCroix’s new tropical-themed options might be more to your taste.
