Hey, fans of tangy, pickle-flavored potato chips, there’s a new kid on the block. Pringles now come in Deep Fried Pickle.
Lovers of flavors like salt and vinegar have likely also ventured into other sour-meets-salty options, like dill pickle potato chips. Now, that option is being taken up a notch by Pringles, which is introducing a deep-fried pickle version of its famous curved chip.
The new chip comes in a wavy style, so it has an extra crunch to give you that perfect batter-like consistency. You can snag the new Pringles at Dollar General stores nationwide starting this month.
Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing at Pringles, hinted that the new flavor would also make an excellent appetizer.
“With the debut of Pringles Wavy Deep Fried Pickle,” Maguire said in a press release, “fans can experience their favorite, iconic fried appetizer flavor in an entirely new, easy to snack form.”
And if you want to create a snack smorgasbord for your summer get-togethers, add some homemade snacks, too.
