Whether you’re planning a wedding or just love having fresh flowers in the house, these are the spring and summer floral trends you can expect to see in 2021.
Interflora used its professional expertise, as well as Google and Pinterest trends, to determine this year’s most (and least) popular flowers.
The results revealed that peonies were the most popular for warmer weather in 2021. The flower received a whopping 87% increase in Google searches last year. In bloom now, peonies continue through June, so you’ll be able to get them through the beginning of summer.
There was also a flower people weren’t searching for as much. While beautiful, lilies are trending downward when it comes to demand. Unfortunately, the blooms are dangerous to both dogs and cats, and with pet adoption rates soaring since last year, bouquets with lilies are out.
Keeping flowers in your home or office has been shown to boost mood, energy levels, and concentration. Just seeing them can calm the sympathetic nervous system. So if you’ve been feeling a bit stressed or anxious, you might want to get a bouquet to give your space and yourself a little boost.
