Many people have honed their culinary skills over the last year, but if you’re on your own, cooking for one can be a real challenge. That’s why you’ll be happy to learn that meal delivery service, Sunbasket, is now offering a single-serve subscription.

The convenience of meal kit delivery services can’t be overstated. Those who live alone, though, often find themselves eating those leftovers for a solid week. That’s why Sunbasket’s new single-serve Fresh & Ready option is a godsend!

But that’s not the only benefit. The brand plans to launch over 65 new recipes this year from which you can choose with your subscription.

The Fresh & Ready line isn’t a meal kit; rather, they’re ready-to-eat meals you just heat up in the oven or microwave in as little as three minutes. There’s no mess and no prep. So, if you’ve been looking for an easy weeknight meal solution, this is it! Fresh & Ready meals will be available starting April 25, for $8.99 each.

The ready-to-eat options were originally launched last year, and their success is what led the brand to expand. According to Don Barnett, CEO of Sunbasket, customers expressed a desire for single-serve portions even if they didn’t live in single households due to different dietary restrictions and goals.

“By expanding our offerings to include more recipes and changing the serving size,” Barnett said in a press release, “we’re now able to help even more customers meet their health goals by catering to a variety of dietary preferences and eating occasions.”

The meal options prioritize quality ingredients, including “organic product and eggs, antibiotic and hormone-free meats, and sustainably sourced seafood.” Sunbasket also has options for a multitude of dietary needs, like gluten- and dairy-free meals. There are also options for those following specific diets, like paleo.

If you’re ready to try a Sunbasket meal or two, just choose a plan and sign up. However, you can check out even more meal delivery services if you want to explore all your options first.
