When you hear or read “Barbie wallpaper,” your brain probably flashes on a hot-pink nightmare you’d find in an 8-year-old’s bedroom. Fortunately, that isn’t the case with the new Mattel x Wallshoppe collection.
The famous toy brand teamed up with the peel-and-stick wallpaper company to create a range of Barbie-themed wallpapers inspired by the doll’s vintage designs. The options range from images of actual Barbies arranged in kaleidoscope patterns or showcasing her famous ensembles.
For those who really want to embrace the Barbie theme, there are multiple logo wallpapers, so you can actually plaster your walls with her name in hot pink if you want.
However, if you prefer a retro style that’s not too over the top, Mattel and Wallshoppe have crafted more abstract takes on the Barbie theme. Check out the whimsical stars design or this one featuring rainbows.
Each panel (which is 26.25 inches wide x 53 inches high) starts at $68. All of the patterns are printed on nontoxic, eco-friendly paper made sustainably in Los Angeles. You can browse the entire collection over on Wallshoppe.
To add more interest to your space, you might want to consider creating a gallery wall.
