This spring, Dunkin’ launched avocado toast. Now that summer is on the way, the coffee and breakfast food chain is amping things up with some bacon on top.
The latest version of Dunkin’s avocado toast is available now. It comes on the same sourdough loaf as the original. It’s topped with an avocado spread that also includes salt, pepper, lemon juice, Everything But The Bagel seasoning, and (now) cherrywood smoked crumbled bacon.
In late April, the brand also launched three new coconut milk Refreshers and started offering the dairy substitute as an option for all of its beverages.
But there’s also another new menu item. The Sunrise Batch is a medium roast coffee with “notes of cocoa, tangy sweetness, and toasted nuts.” Oh, yeah, and the Butter Pecan Sundae Signature Latte is also back. It has an espresso base with butter pecan flavor, whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles.
Jill Nelson, vice president of marketing and culinary at Dunkin’, said the timing of the new menu items is no coincidence.
“Summer is on the horizon and we’re all ready for a bright start to the season, which is just what Dunkin’ delivers with this flavorful new lineup,” Nelson said in a press release. “Full of color, sweetness, and fresh flavors, Dunkin’s summer menu is packed with vibrant variety to keep guests running.”
