Lightweight cloth storage baskets and bins are fine for decorative use. However, if you’re storing things long-term in a closet, garage, workshop, or craft room, you’ll need something sturdier that can hold more stuff.
Cloth bins tend to warp quickly, even if you’re just using them to store clothing in a closet. The more you pull them out and cram more stuff into them, the more out of shape they get. Soon, you’ll find that they need to be replaced.

Plastic Bins
Plastic bins offer the most sturdiness and come in a few different varieties. You’ll want to pick the right size for your needs. Some are collapsable, which makes them easy to store or move.
