Krispy Kreme wants to help you get into the summer spirit. To do so, the doughnut chain has launched a selection of tropical-themed doughnuts. Yes, that might sound a bit odd, but don’t they look delicious?
As part of its new lineup, Krispy Kreme has debuted the following new doughnut flavors:
- Pina Colada: A glazed doughnut filled with pina colada creme, dipped in pina colada icing, and then sprinkled with toasted coconut with a cherry on top.
- Island Time: A glazed doughnut with traditional creme, dipped in blue icing with graham cracker crumb toppings (to look like sand), and an icing palm tree.
- Key Lime Pie: A doughnut with a key lime filling, dipped in lime green icing, then topped with graham cracker crumbs, and a dollop of creme filling.
You can pick up the new, tropical options now, but only for a limited time—they’ll be gone May 30. You can order them for delivery or pickup, or just head to a Krispy Kreme near you.
As part of the launch, the brand is also hosting two “Key Lime Fridays” on May 21 and 28. On those dates, you can grab both the Key Lime Glazed or Key Lime Filled doughnut (two returning flavors), along with the new Key Lime Pie. Basically, it’s a key lime smorgasbord!
