Lots of companies are offering incentives to encourage Americans to get the COVID-19 vaccine. At many restaurants, this encouragement comes in the form of free food, and who doesn’t love that? The latest to join the movement is Panera.
From July 2-4, vaccinated customers can head to their local Panera and pick up a free bagel. And yes, it’s totally free—no other purchase is required. You can also choose any of the brand’s famous bagels. Love a little sweetness? Try Cinnamon Crunch. Cheese fiend? Ask for the Asiago.
Of course, you’ll have to bring your vaccine card to redeem the offer, but that’s easy enough. You’re also not limited to just one—you can get a free bagel every single day during the promotion.
The promotion is part of the White House’s National Month of Action effort to mobilize Americans to get at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine before the Fourth of July.
“We have come through one of our nation’s greatest crises by supporting one another,” Niren Chaudhary, CEO at Panera, said in a press release. “And now, together, we can all take a simple act that will help our communities overcome this pandemic.”
After Panera’s promotion ends, all’s not lost; vaccinated individuals can snag a free doughnut at Krispy Kreme every day for the rest of 2021.
