Whether you’re an avid traveler or a once-a-year adventurer, you likely have some specific destinations you’d like to visit in the future. Curious how many of your choices are on other people’s travel bucket lists? Let’s find out!

Unforgettable Travel compiled a list of locations and activities that are commonly included in online bucket list roundups and explainers. Then, the company looked at the average monthly global search volume for common terms associated with those locations and activities. The most-searched-for term was then used as the base for the rankings.

Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the tallest building in the world, came in first, and just riding to the top isn’t all you can do (although you can do that). This mixed-use development also has its own attractions.

The tower is home to the Armani Hotel (as in that Armani) lounges, an art gallery, and health and wellness facilities. But outside of the more tourist-based attractions, it’s also the location of offices and residences.

While touring the Burj Khalifa might be number one, the United States actually took the second spot. Sailing around the Statue of Liberty came in as the next most popular bucket list item.

You can see where your own travel aspirations fall on the list here. If you’re planning to mark something off your travel bucket list soon, be sure to check out these helpful apps.
