There’s no shortage of food trends on TikTok. Most of them look so tasty, you want to try them all, and these latest crunchy pasta snacks are no exception.
Pasta chips are gaining lots of traction on the video-sharing app, and while they might be a bit more work than some of the other recipes on the platform, they definitely look worth it. In a nutshell, you cook some pasta, season it, then use an air fryer to make it crispy.
The recipe comes courtesy of @bostonfoodgram (whose real name is Emily). She adapted the recipe from one she saw online, switching up the flavors a bit, and now, pasta chips are reaching peak popularity on the platform.
So, how do you make them?
First, cook some bowtie pasta as you usually would, drain it, then add garlic powder, onion powder, parmesan, olive oil, and toss it in a bowl. Once it’s all combined, pop the pasta in the air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for seven minutes, but flip them halfway through. And, boom! Pasta chips with the perfect amount of crunch.
