Some of the first fall foods are set to drop in August, but Le Creuset got the jump on the fall-themed goods by launching its new collection now.
Cayenne is the latest shade from the high-end enamel cookware company. The orange-red shade is meant to be reminiscent of the spice of the same name, but its autumnal vibes are hard to miss.
According to the brand, the color is meant to embody the “exotic vibrance and the simmering heat of summer.” The design plays with the idea of light reflecting off the shining enamel to create shadows, and many options feature minimalist three-ring embellishments.
Again, the collection is available now, and the color has been incorporated into several of Le Creuset’s most famous pieces. If you haven’t already invested in one of the company’s famous Dutch Ovens, you can snag one in the new color now or opt for a frying pan or casserole dish instead.
Let’s be honest, though; August is still a few days away, yet Coffee-Mate and Nestle Tollhouse are already launching their fall foods, so this new Le Creuset collection is reading more like “pumpkin spice” than cayenne to us.
Whether this new shade reminds you of a spicy summer or the beckoning of fall, it marks yet another beautiful option from the brand that’s given us everything from agave blue cookware to elegant marble collections.
