While 2020 marked the beginning of the charcuterie board craze, it’s far from over. In fact, there’s a new type of grazing board making the rounds on the internet, and it’s all about spuds.

Baked potato boards are one of the latest creations to go viral, and they look delicious. Sandy Coughlin, owner of the Reluctant Entertainer blog, appears to be the brains behind this trend.

Her impressive charcuterie board creations are a smash on Instagram and range from wildly impressive breakfast spreads to an epic Taco Tuesday board. Coughlin has even written an upcoming book on crafting large-scale boards for families, and also offers a collection of boards through House of Hyacinth.

It’s her baked potato board, though, that looks particularly intriguing as fall approaches. It offers a visually stunning collection of toppings and already baked potatoes arranged on one of her round charcuterie boards.

In the center, she’s placed a bowl of chili surrounded by smaller bowls in which grazers can find multiple cheeses, sour cream, pico de gallo, bacon, and green onions, just to name a few. Around the edges of the board are the baked potatoes and, for those who prefer nachos over potatoes,  tortilla chips fill in the gaps.

Of course, you can customize your board with the toppings you prefer, but Coughlin’s recipe is a fantastic starting point if you need a bit of direction.
