This Viral Soup Calls for 60 Garlic Cloves

Garlic cloves are roasted, blended, and turned into soup.

Is there such a thing as too much garlic? If your answer is no, one of the latest viral TikTok recipes is for you.

If you’re looking to ward off vampires this Halloween, @FoodWithLiz has created a creamy soup that calls for a whopping 60 cloves of garlic!

To craft this garlicky meal, you first roast six large heads of garlic with a light coating of olive oil at 400 degrees Farenheight for an hour. When done, squeeze the individual heads free (in a very Dr. Pimple Popper sort of way) and set aside.

Chop and sauté an onion, and then peel and chop a potato. Next, throw it all in the blender with your choice of milk and blend until smooth. Finally, toss in some Better Than Bouillon No Chicken Base, topped with thyme and croutons, and you’ve got soup!

Liz’s garlic soup might be her most popular to date, with 12 million views and 1.7 million likes, but it’s not her only delicious-looking soup recipe. She’s also posted a tomato bisque (with roasted garlic, of course) and a vegan clam chowder that I’d eat, and I’m not even vegan.

So, grab that garlic press and get cooking!
