Sure, Halloween is, arguably, all about candy. Krispy Kreme’s new Halloween doughnuts, though, might have you wanting to dole out something different for trick or treating this year.
The doughnut chain has launched a new line of Halloween-themed doughnuts, dubbed Krispy Skreme, that sound delicious and look absolutely adorable. The following spooky-themed pastries are now available at your local Krispy Kreme:
- Abra Cat Dabra: An original glazed that’s been dipped in chocolate icing and topped with sanding sugar to look like fur. Sugar fondant is used to create cat ears, eyes, and a nose.
- Enchanted Cauldron: A glazed chocolate cake doughnut, topped with green cream in the shape of a cauldron and a pretzel broomstick.
- Bewitched Broomstick: An unglazed doughnut topped with purple icing and decorated with a swirl, gold stars, and a pretzel and buttercream witch’s broom.
- Spooky Sprinkle: This classic is an original glazed dipped in orange icing and topped with sprinkles.
The brand also launched a limited-edition doughnut box to go with its new flavors. The classic red, white, and green container has been switched out for a black box with purple, green, and gold accents made to look like a spellbook.
Krispy Kreme is offering several ways to celebrate the holiday, too. Beginning Oct. 16, you can head to your location for “Saturday Scary Sharies” and get a $1 dozen when you buy one dozen at regular price.
Also, on Oct. 31, if you go to Krispy Kreme dressed in a costume, you can get a free doughnut.
And while you’re there picking up your Halloween Dozen, don’t forget to show your vaccine card to get a free doughnut.
