Making a cheesecake can be a labor-intensive endeavor. Turns out, though, your air fryer might offer a shortcut.

America’s Test Kitchen discovered that you can, indeed, bake a cheesecake in an air fryer, and in their TikTok video, it looks pretty delicious.

You do have to make your own crust, but it’s pretty simple. You just combine crushed graham crackers, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a food processor. Then, just press it down into a springform pan and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in your air fryer for 2-4 minutes, or until golden brown.

It can even make dessert.

Next, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, salt, eggs, and sour cream. Blend it all in your processor until smooth, pour the mixture into the springform pan, and then cover it tightly with aluminum foil. Bake it for 30 minutes, remove the foil, and then bake it for another 20 minutes.

Let it cool for a bit, and you’ve got a delicious dessert to dig into!

This isn’t the only surprising dish you can craft in your air fryer. If you’re an Outback Steakhouse regular, you can even make your own Bloomin’ Onion!
