Whether you have a kid who loves Disney or you’re still a kid at heart, it’s hard to deny the magic of Mickey Mouse. There’s a pumpkin going viral on TikTok that proves it.
TikTok content creator Emerald Outlaw has carved a Mickey Mouse pumpkin that’s not only adorable but also super easy to do yourself. With 1.2 million views on the video, a lot of people seem to be trying.
In the upload, Outlaw begins by taping a printed copy of Mickey Mouse’s face onto the pumpkin. Then, she uses a seam ripper and pokes tiny holes through both the paper and pumpkin to create the shapes she’ll later need to carve. Once the outline is done, she removes the paper and carves out the areas she marked with the ripper. Then, it’s on to the ears.
For them, she uses two smaller-sized pumpkins. First, she places toothpicks into the top of the larger, already-carved pumpkin in order to mark the spaces where the “ears” will go. Then, she inserts wooden skewers into the bases of the other pumpkins before sticking them into place on either side of the larger pumpkin’s stem.
The result is an adorable jack o’lantern that looks just like Mickey.
