Adam Doud

Adam has been a content producer in this space for almost a decade. He started by writing, graduated to videography and then to podcast production. He has built multiple successful podcasts as a producer, and hosted several favorites as well. Currently he produces and hosts the DGiT Daily podcast and the Android Authority podcast.
Before diving into the technology pool, Adam worked with his father, a general contractor, from an early age. He started with a broom, and moved up to a hammer and then a reciprocating saw, and finally, he got a full tool belt. After college Adam worked as a general contractor and electrician for three years before getting bitten by the technology bug.
He has been writing for technology blogs since 2011, starting with webOS (Google it) and eventually settling into a role at Android Authority. Not content to just stick with mobile phones, he has bylines at multiple publications where he writes about technology, DIY, entertainment, and other forms of tech and geekery. Adam is primarily a technology reviewer and how-to geek, which is how he ended up at How To Geek.
When he’s not writing, he can be found scouring Reddit for laughs, keeping up with tech news around the world, and using his phone to buy as much as possible in his daily life. Outside of tech, he lives in the Chicago suburbs where he spends most days tinkering in his garage, hiking through the forest, or biking around town.
