Cameron Summerson is the Editor in Chief of Review Geek, where he's responsible for curating coverage and making sure our content is the best it can be. Cam also serves as an Editorial Advisor for How-to Geek and LifeSavvy. He joined the How-to team in 2016.
His career started nearly a decade ago as a news writer for Android Police, where he penned over 3,400 posts about Android and Chrome OS. In his time there, he reviewed over 60 different Android devices, and even more accessories including Bluetooth speakers, headsets, keyboards, and more. He served as a Senior Editor on the Android Police team for three years before joining How-To Geek as the resident Android and Chrome expert. He has written over 4,000 articles since 2011, including hundreds of product reviews.
You can find Cam’s work outside of the online world, as well. He’s been published in Consumers Digest magazine twice: once as an expert on streaming TV boxes (April 2016, “Open Access”), and another for his knowledge on Bluetooth speakers and portable media players (June 2015, “Portable Power Mates”). He has also been interviewed and quoted as a smartphone expert in the New York Times.
On the small screen, you can find Cam’s touch in the popular Android app Nova Launcher. He handles all of the UX Writing—that is, all the text within the app—for Nova developer TeslaCoil Apps. He rewrote all the text from the ground up for the 6.0 launch.
You can think of Cam as the hype man of the HTG network. If there's some cool, new, and exciting tech, he's going to find it and make sure you know all there is to know about it.
LifeSavvy is where you learn new skills for a better life. Whether you’re looking for tips on organization, travel, parenting, fitness, relationships, school, or your career, our team of expert writers is here to help.
