Ellie Miller is a full-time copy editor for LifeSavvy’s reviews articles. She joined the team in 2020 and edits content, trains and collaborates with writers, and maintains the daily publishing schedule for reviews articles.
With four years of experience in substantive and copy editing, proofreading, and publishing, she has edited thousands of online articles, as well as memoirs, scientific essays, book chapters, and workplace training documents, among other things. She has a passion for punctuation, a gusto for grammar, a devotion to dictionaries, and an appreciation for alliteration that fuel her love for editing.
Ellie holds a bachelor’s degree in linguistics with a minor in editing from Brigham Young University, where she was a managing editor for a student-led academic journal. Her writing and editing can be found obviously all over LifeSavvy, in multiple editions of the linguistics journal Schwa, and in an online blog called Latter-day Saint Insights.
In her spare time, you’ll likely find Ellie trying a new recipe, rereading Jane Austen novels, camping in the woods, or binge-watching TV shows.
