Emilee is a freelance food writer and devoted culinarian. She has worked in the food industry for over a decade and holds degrees in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management.
Her career began in a small diner, followed by years of experience working in the corporate restaurant setting. Later, she landed a cooking position at Denali National Park in Alaska, where her love for travel and adventure began.
Emilee has traveled to multiple countries in Europe and has had the opportunity to experience the culture and sample the cuisine from places like Greece, Italy, Germany, Austria, Scotland, and many more.
During her college years, Emilee worked under a distinguished chef who competed as a pastry artist on Food Network and in the Culinary Olympics. During her years working with this chef, Emilee also participated in icing artistry competitions and received multiple awards for her work.
